KI STORY

Rooted in Growth

Every restaurant begins with a name. Ours began with a piece of wood.

“Ki” (木) is the Japanese word for wood. In Chinese, 木一 represents the beginning of growth.
Wood symbolizes strength, resilience, and deep roots. Like a young tree, growth takes time. It requires patience, dedication, and a commitment to becoming better every day.
That philosophy became the foundation of Ki.

Located in Little Neck, where Queens meets Long Island, Ki was created to be more than a traditional omakase restaurant.

We wanted to build a place where exceptional ingredients and genuine hospitality could exist together.

As a young restaurant, we continue to learn, grow, and evolve every day.

Much like the meaning behind our name, we are still growing our roots.
And this is only the beginning.
